How To Make Your LIfe A Little Easier

⭐️Learning Acceptance For A Better Quality Of Life

❓I’ve often been asked, “How did you learn to accept yourself”?

Well, there is no simple answer, but the best way I can explain is that it made my life “easier”. No, the 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 wasn’t easy, but after I made that decision, everything that followed became much more clear and a lot less stressful.

Sometimes - or most times - in life, we are faced with a traumatic event of some kind that changes us. It may be physical or emotional, but whatever it is is beyond our control and becomes a part of who we are.

⭐️Once that happens, we are given a 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆: will I accept my fate and continue, or will I fight an eternal battle making that trauma your reason and excuse for everything in life moving forward?

If you think about it, 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 is the “easier” path. Fighting your demons for the rest of your life sounds exhausting, doesn't it? If you’re not sure, I can tell you from years of experience: IT IS‼️

⭐️𝘼𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥. 𝙄𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙. 𝙄𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙.

Accepting those broken pieces as a part of you allows you to rebuild yourself. If you leave the remains, they will continue to be a burden - just some baggage you’re carrying around that does nothing more than weigh you down and make life more difficult.

⭐️We’ve all been broken or shattered in some way. How you decide to pick up the pieces makes all the difference in who you become from that moment on. 💕

With love,

Jess
